L.B. Memorial Inter-School Quiz Competition

“Talent is what you possess, genius is the one who possesses it”…

To bring out the best in students, Yuvashakti Model School, Sector-3, Rohini organised L.B. Memorial Inter-School Quiz Competition on 18th November, 2016 in the fond memory of Late Sh. Laddu Ram Sharma ji and Late Sh. Bodh Raj Sharma ji, respected fathers of our opulent founder Late Sh. Madan Lal Sharma ji and our former Chairman Sh. B.R. Sharma ji.

Before every mega event, lamp-lightening is considered as pious. Keeping this in mind, a lamp was lit in school premises. The quiz commenced with Saraswati Vandana. Headmaster Mr. Lalit Vikram Sheetal introduced the teams. Fifteen teams from different schools participated with great endeavour. Mr. Lalit Vikram Sheetal tested the participants knowledge with his grilling questions. Ms. Shruti Khandelwal also spared her time for the quiz.

After an intense yet recreational tussle of whirling minds Mount Abu School emerged as the winner of this prestigious quiz competition. Jain Bharti Mrigawati Vidhyalaya bagged the second position.

A special cash award of Rs. 500/- was given to Arvind of Jain Bharti Mrigavati Vidyalaya for answering maximum number of questions.

Principal Sh. Harinder Kumar provided his incessant appraisal thus boasting everyone’s morale. Inspirational sayings by the guests endorsed the success of the event.

Chief Guest Mr. Prabhat Kumar, Guest of Honour Mr. Atul Gupta and other dignitaries from school management graced the occasion with their benign presence.

13th MADAN LAL  SHARMA MEMORIAL DECLAMATION COMPETITION

‘Memorize your speech and say it aloud’

An Inter School Hindi Declamation Competition was organised by Yuvashakti Model School, Sec-3, Rohini on 20th January 2017 for middle and senior wing in the fond memory of Pandit Madan Lal Sharma ji, the honourable founder of our school Before every grand event lamp lighting is considered as pious, keeping this in mind, a lamp was lit in the school premises. Everyone was welcomed with the marvellous Saraswati Vandana by Yuvaites. Shri Vijay Sharma ji graced the occasion with his benign presence. Shri Tagore Babry ji was the guest for the event. The competition was commenced in the presence of Principal Mr. Harinder Kumar and Headmaster Mr. Lalit Vikram Sheetal. Judges for the senior wing were Mr. V.B. Shastri, Mrs. Vinod Gulati and Mrs. Manju Joshi. And Judges for middle wing were Mrs. Anupama Sharma,
Mrs. Neelam Goel and Mrs. Madhu Nirbal. For senior wing first position was secured by Modern Public School. Second position was bagged by St. Cecilia Public School and third position went to Mount Abu Public School. Consolation prize went to St. Xavier’s School. For middle wing first position was secured by Vikas Bharti Public School, second position was bagged by Mount Abu Public School and third position went to KIIT World School. Consolation prize went to Venketeshwar Global School. All participants were given certificates. The event was a huge success.

ENGLISH POEM RECITATION COMPETITION

To bring out the best in our students, Yuvashakti Model School, Sec-3, Rohini, Delhi organized an inter house English poem recitation competition for classes IX-XII. The competition began with graceful presence of Principal Mr. Harinder Kumar and Headmaster Mr. L.V. Sheetal. All the students joined the pearls of words with string of poem beautifully. Gargi Bhardwaj (Nalanda House) bagged the first position. Second position was shared by Lakshika (Taxila House) and Shrestha (Shantiniketan House). Third position went in the hands of Vanshika (Taxila House). The virtuous judges were Ms. Meena Puri and Ms. Vasvi who graced the occasion with their benign presence.

AN INTER HOUSE POEM RECITATION COMPETITION

An Inter House Poem Recitation Competition (English and Hindi) was organized for students of Middle wing at Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini on 13th April 2016. The competition was conducted to groom the oratory skills to boost the confidence of the students. As we all know, poem is meant for enjoyment. Beauty is the realm of the poetry, students enjoy the beauty of expressions, thought, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and the music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration students got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition was conducted to groom the oratory skills boost the confidence of the students. All the three houses participated with full zest and fervor. Principal, Mr. Harinder Kumar, Head Master, Mr. L.V. Sheetal and Incharge of Middle Wing Ms. Meena Puri graced the event. As Judges Ms. Rajshree Singh (HOD-English) and Mr. V.B. Shastri (HOD-Hindi) were invited to witness the competition.

One could see and feel the enthusiasm that the students had in their performances. The honorable judges really appreciated and applauded the students. Winners were:

INTER- HOUSE BHAJAN COMPETITION

An Inter- House Bhajan Competition for Primary Wing was organized on 30th December, 2016 at Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini to imbibe spiritual values among students. Students showed their talent by performing on the stage. They sang melodious bhajans. They displayed immense talent and kept the audience spellbound with their performances.

The efforts of the students were encouraged and motivated by the Principal, Mr. Harinder Kumar. Winners of the competition were given certificates and gifts.
