Activity Clubs


Earth day was celebrated at Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini on 22nd April 2016. The programme started with a speech by Eco Club Incharge Ms. Purnima, she enlightened the children by telling them different ways to protect environment. It was proceeded by Ms. Priyanka and she expressed her views on conservation of nature by which children got inspired.

On the occasion of Earth Day student members of Eco-Club also participated with great interest. Eco-Club members recited poems and staged a beautiful skit. They gave a meaningful message to all that we can do our bit to save ‘Mother Earth’.

Principal, Mr. Harinder Kumar planted saplings in the school ground, motivated the students and appreciated their performance. Headmaster Mr. Lalit Vikram Sheetal also graced the occasion with his presence. All the members of Eco-Club played an important role to make this occasion a huge success.



“Learning to Save Life”

Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini organised an event to decorate the students with beautiful badges of auspicious Disaster Management Club. This event occurred in the worthy presence of respected Principal Sir Mr. Harinder Kumar and disciplinary Incharge Mr. Lalit Vikram Sheetal. It was on the behalf of the sub-district magistrate to create awareness about disaster management. A group of students were selected from the school who will provided with the training to handle the disaster efficiently. Mr. Lalit Vikram Sheetal was handed with a charge of this project. All the Chief Proctors Mrs. Raj Lakshmi, Mrs. Shikha Mehra along with Mr. Lalit Vikram Sheetal shower their blessings to the students, so that they can work properly. The teachers and the staff got acquainted with the ways of providing immediate medical aid in case of emergency.

Diwali ‘the festival of lights’, having a special significance in the life of every Indian was celebrated in Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini on 28th October 2016 with great ferver serving two fold purpose. The assembly was started with Laxmi Puja and followed by an inspirational speech about Eco-Friendly Diwali was given by Ms. Neeraj Diwan (Member of Eco-Club). A skit was presented by the students of middle wing to make children aware of the pollution caused by bursting crackers. Stress was made to celebrate “Pollution free Diwali” and to make our earth clean and healthy. After the morning assembly a peaceful Anti-Cracker rally and Swatch Bharat rally was organised by Yuvaities in Sector-3, Rohini area to sensitize the neighbourhood about the pollution caused by crackers. Students spread the message, ‘No to Crackers’. The notion behind this, was to make this Diwali more meaningful by making efforts.

Van Mahotsav Day

Yuvashakti Model School celebrated Van Mahotsav Day on 14th July 2016 with great aplomb and enthusiasm. Meaningful messages were put up all around on the importance of trees and how they are our ‘Lifeline’. Principal Mr. Harinder Kumar, Head Master Mr. L.V. Sheetal and Incharges of Primary and Middle wings were welcome warmly by the Incharge of Eco Club Ms. Purnima with flowerpot saplings and handmade cards.

The event started with the inspirational speech by Ms. Ekta (Member of Eco Club). The programme featured a skit by the students on “Importance of Trees and Segregation of waste” left everyone mesmerized. Then the programme was followed by a rally by little yuvaties. Students of class VI donated saplings to beautify the school. Principal Sir and Head Master Sir planted saplings in the school premises. It was a commendable initiative taken by the members of Eco-Club. The programme was a great success
