We make use of Activity-based play-way method in educating the tiny tots of Nursery and Prep. with the help of the latest educational tools in order to enable the children to develop all the 93 sills desired before the reach class I. we provide them with
well-furnished Activity room and Audio-Visual Room separately to help them gain mental growth and self-learning skills.
Primary Section :
Environmental approach is applied at this stage by providing the suitable environment to children for inculcating in them the desired 93 skills and for ensuring their proper physical growth by conducting regular health check-ups. The immense amount of their energy is aptly channelised towards self-reliance and self-confidence.
Middle & Secondary Section :
Interactive method of teaching is adopted at this stage to provide instructions to the students. The students interact and exchange their ideas with each other and participate in various co-curricular activities such as debates, recitation, sports & games, theater workshops, drawing competitions, cultural programmes etc. to inculcate the feeling of unity as well as a spirit of shared learning.
Senior Secondary Section :
Special attention is paid to the children at this stage of their education keeping in view the Sr. Secondary School Examination conducted by C.B.S.E. which is strictly based on the syllabus set by them using skill based method.
Creative Painting Competition
The 1st Inter House Competition at YMS, Rohini of academic session 2017- 18 held at Middle Wing was ‘Creative Painting Competition’.
It was scheduled for 22nd April’17, Saturday. All the students from classes VI to VIII participated enthusiastically. Every students performed to the best of their capability.
The competition was judged by two esteemed teachers of Drawing Department: Mr. Anoop Srivastava and Ms. Madhu Rani and following were awarded the positions: –

OUTING FOR MOVIE
On 26th April’17, Wednesday an outing was organized by YMS, Rohini for the Middle Wing for the students who have taken the subscription of newspaper for the current academic session.
The students were taken to the movie “Fast and Furious 8” at M2K, Rani Bagh followed by a mini lunch at Mc Donalds. The students were accompanied by some teachers of the wing.
Heat outside could not pull down the excitement of the students. They sang songs while going and coming back in the bus.
They watched the movie with full interest munching pop- corns and sipping cold drinks. Mc Donalds was a great treat for them and vanilla cone ice cream stole the pockets.
It was a good enjoyment for them, away from a regular working day.
On 9th May 2017, Tuesday a dance competition was held at the Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini exclusively for the students who have taken the subscription of newspaper i.e. both, the participants and spectators were the newspaper taking students from classes VI to VIII.
Boys and girls participated with a lot of fervour. 25 contestants participated from across the classes. The contestants whirled to a number of bollywood tunes and each one putting their best foot forward.
This cut throat competition was judged by Ms. Simmi, representative of HT Education which circulates the newspaper at the school, Ms. Shilpi and Ms. Meenakshi, dance faculty of the school.
The winners declared were as under:-

2nd Position : Ankit (VIII-C) and Kirti (VII-A)
3rd Position : Aryan Negi (VII-D) and Vrishti (VIII-D)
